Greyhound racing’s truth was recently exposed at the Warrnambool VIC track.

Three horrific falls and a significant back injury were captured on camera from the marathon on March 17th.

From two perspectives, these injuries are exhibited in real-time and slow-motion. The racing industry “loves” its dogs in this way.

 

The Warrnambool Incidents:

Race 1: That’s Life – cervicothoracic injury

Race 2:  Slingshot Rusty – foreleg monkey muscle, foreleg deltoid muscle, left and right foreleg wrist injuries

               Son Of Pookie – foreleg wrist, and monkey muscle injuries

Race 6:  Inga Ollie – hindleg back muscle injury (serious)

Race 10:  Lektra Gal – hindleg triangle muscle injury

The Coalition for the Protection of Greyhounds (CPG) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to ending greyhound racing as a terrible sport for dogs. CPG thinks people deserve to know the realities of greyhound racing because of its brutality, and those state governments should modify their rules addressing greyhound care.
