Wentworth Park is one of the most dangerous and controversial greyhound racetracks in Australia. It has killed dozens of dogs since the Baird backflip in 2016. The greyhound racing lease expires in 2027. The community and local politicians want the space returned to the public.

Greens MP brought on a public interest debate in early May, calling on the government to end cruel greyhound racing at Wentworth Park and return this land to our community when the lease expires in 2027.
Disappointingly Labor failed to support our calls. The government must not extend the lease for greyhound racing at Wentworth Park beyond 2027.
